About Trainer Becky

Becky has always loved animals and while she was attending college she realized that dog training was the career path she wanted to take. Becky graduated from Cleveland State University in 2007 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. In February 2008 she moved to Austin, TX for 4 months to study dog training at Triple Crown Dog Training Academy, which is now called Star Mark Dog Training Academy. While Becky attended Triple Crown, she worked with her dog Sadie (the Puggle) and other dogs to learn dog training and behavior. Two of the dogs she trained were Mickey, a Doberman Pincher, and Short Stop, a Basset Lab mix.

Becky has been training dogs since 2008. Starting off small she helped train friends and neighbors dogs. Since then Becky has helped many clients train their dogs to be the dogs they have always wanted. She has also taught group classes in several locations.
About Consistent Canine Training

Consistent Canine Training (CCT) only uses positive reinforcement methods to help you train your dog. The main tools that CCT uses are a clicker and treats. This helps a dog learn quickly and they have fun doing it. Training your dog should be fun and rewarding for both owner and dog. Once training begins, there is a bond that grows between owner and dog. They learn to respect and love one another for the rest of their lives. Keep in mind that it is very important to start training your dog as soon as they come home. Bad and good habits will start right away.
